About Us
Ben was like a lot of folks in Utah County—hardworking, hands-on, and just trying to make his house a home. After years grinding in the corporate world, he finally bought his first home. It was a proud milestone… but the real work had just begun.
From loose doorknobs and jammed locks to TV mounts and broken vents, the list of “little things” around the house kept piling up. Ben had the eye for detail and the passion for fixing, building, and creating—but time was limited, and some jobs required help.
So he did what most homeowners do: he started calling around. But quote after quote came in—$800 here, $1,200 there—for things he knew shouldn't cost more than a few hundred bucks. It didn’t make sense. These weren’t full remodels. These were just odd jobs.
And that’s when it clicked.
Ben realized there was a serious gap in the home service world. No one was focused on the in-between jobs—the ones that don’t require a licensed contractor, but definitely require skill, tools, and time.
So he rolled up his sleeves, grabbed his toolbox, and launched Odd Jobs Utah.
